The Running Man

Introduction
Who am I and why should you be interested in my hubs? Well, for starters, I'm a 41-year-old runner from Seattle, Washington in the United States. I've been running for over 20 years and have run in many states and countries over that time. I've never been an elite athlete of any sort, but I love running. It's been the one respite that's kept me sane throughout my demanding career. I've learned a lot over these 20 plus years of running. Often, I learn from mistakes, unfortunately, but I've also done a lot of reading about running and have experimented along the way. The results, for a regular guy like me, have been rewarding. I've hit personal bests in races as I've entered my forties, and while age will catch up with me, I'm enjoying challenging myself to see how far I can push it.
While those rewards are part of the individual nature of the sport, it is best shared with those who are also passionate about running. I love to talk about running, discuss strategies and training plans, and recount my favorite races. This hub is my attempt at putting my thoughts and experiences out for the world to see, and hopefully, this hub will benefit someone in some way much like I have benefitted from the passion and experience of many fellow runners through the years. I hope you will give it a read and come back for more. Please leave your comments and let me know your thoughts and experiences as well. Running doesn't necessarily have to be a solitary experience.
